White bee attack and effective spray protection on Sweet Potato A farmer's experience
The biggest desire of every farmer nowadays is to be fully ready, be healthy and sell at a good price in the market. But sometimes natural disasters or insect attacks turn our hard work. There has been a similar problem in my sweet potato crop. A certain type of white bee has attacked the crop and has severely damaged the leaves of all the plants.
This white bee not only sucks the leaf juice but also prevents the growth of the crop, which directly affects the production. Immediately it was estimated that it was a white bee attack, which could completely destroy the crop if it was not controlled on time.
White Bee Introduction
White Bee is a small but dangerous worm that often attacks vegetables and especially sugar (sweet potato). The bee weakens the leaves of the plants and weakens them, as well as eliminates a certain kind of moisture on which a black fungus can also be made. In addition, the white bee is capable of spreading several types of viruses.
Before contacted experts and began implementing their proposed strategy. First separated parts of the crop that were completely affected. Then to maintain the distance in the crop so that the insects weaken from the air dishes. I chose a balanced and effective spray that was also effective against white bees as well as other pests such as trips, Afods and Caterpillar.
Experts advised me to use spray containing ingredients such as Emidacloprid (Imidacloprid), Esfenvalerate (Esfenvalerate) and Dimethoute (Dimethoate), which are readily available in the market like "Confederate", "Topes" or "Star Warrior" in the market. In the evening preferred to spray so that the sunshine could be avoided and the spray was effectively absorbed.
Every 10 days made a routine to spray again so that the eggs and the surviving insects could be eliminated. At the same time, I added a small amount of sugar with the spray so that the flies can be eliminated quickly - this is a tested indigenous method that I learned from other experienced farmers.
I don't have any experience with sweet potato trees, but I understood a lot through your post, until they attack and damage the trees. Anyway, I hope everything will be fine soon. Thank you for sharing a beautiful article.
Well come
