Almost Happy, I Was
Probably not the most intriguing topic, as we know how we are use to clicking only on "attractive", "well-written", click-bait "constructed" titles, but still, for the three persons who are going to actually read this, I am going to share something small, that almost made me happy for about three days in a row.
(oh, and by the way, if I am wrong about that humble number I mentioned above, do prove me wrong by dropping a comment if you care ;)))
So, three days ago, the temperatures dropped by about fifteen degrees, we had some proper rains and I wasn't feeling I am entering a furnace when I was opening the front door of our house and nine AM in the morning (imagine what the afternoon will be, let's say almost all days above +40 C)
That really made me almost happy as I was able to properly sleep in the nights and do a lot of gardening and some exterior small reconstruction jobs.
Yeah, I guess you've noticed I wasn't very active here, on my favorite blockchain :) So, pardon me, if I've been missed. I really missed some of you.
I was reading some posts and comments but didn't have the energy to comment/respond. Oh, I think I often do that - I read, there is something that pops in my mind but I usually don't post that.
Call me the king of procrastination, LMAO.
The hot weather is back with us, thankfully the temperatures are a bit more normal, I mean the maximums are below +40 C.
So here I am back, sharing some bits of my day, let's see how that goes.
Frankly, such hot days make me feel like a squished lemon, less energy and more grumpiness, hehehe.
Now, some totally unrelated pictures I took while traveling in Iceland.
Or wait, are they actually "totally unrelated"? ;)
Oh, just one last note, on the second photograph, the dark peak you see is the famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano.
Trust me, learning to properly pronounce its name makes your brain younger and more flexible and adjustable to the challenges of our "modern" world! :P

This may come as a surprise, but somehow I had known you are one of those :)
(and by the way you've put a real smile on my face!!!)
Sooo, happy to see this! (I also saw your comment about everyone creating content and virtually no one engaging but decided to avoid replying to it, as it wasn't going to bring any more positive energy and I also suspect that is the major driver behind your decision to end Team Europe, which made me a bit sad, to share that too...)
Have a wonderful weekend, Christiane! :)

The very most important thing in times like these... 😊
Waiting for No. 3... 😉
Heat isn’t procrastination – it’s a valid reason!
Take care of yourself – and keep dreaming of Iceland!
P.S.: Maybe you'd like to thank the team in their final report. I think the more (who are not nominated this week) do, the better it is... ♀️

Nobody could dance like a true Atkinson, LMAO
Indeed and thank you! :)
Well, exactly 3 so far but I suppose more non-vocal readers. Probably. Hopefully. I don't know apart from having more quality and more enjoyable and interesting content, what more could be done but maybe that isn't the main goal of the chain after all.
I think I already gave my humble support to the final (well, nothing is really final on this planet) but I plan to thank in a special way :)
Have an awesome day!

We are also below 40 now but "Feels Like" is still 45+ due to humidity.

Oh, high humidity makes how it feels much stronger. I spent a hot humid summer in London, where it was "only" about +30 C but it was almost unbearable, not to mention usually no aircon in the homes ;)))
Thank you! :)
Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
I can hardly imagine a season with temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, like what's been happening in Europe.
I hate the heat!!! I understand when you describe how you've been. At least the weather allowed you three days with cooler temperatures, and you got outside to do some gardening.
I think I included photos from Iceland as a contrast to the climate you're suffering.
I have a question about the title. I understand you use "almost," meaning that happiness wasn't complete. What did you need to enjoy at least three days of complete happiness?
Great photos, thanks for sharing them.

Probably you're right about the photos from Iceland.
I can't say I hate the heat, it has its Pros too, for instance, wonderful delicious vegs for salads, fresh from our garden, during those months.
"Almost", well, isn't there always something more we need? Let's not answer this question, leave it to the imagination.
Thank you!
Actually, there is something strange I see now, when you curate me in this community, I actually receive smaller votes, compared to when you don't curate me. So, please, curate me when I post in other communities, I know you are curator in many.
Hope this doesn't hurt your feelings, let's keep chatting here as friends and not curator-curatee roles ;)
It's true, I used "hate" in an exaggerated way, but I live in a tropical climate, and the heat prompted me to move to a mountainous area above 2,000 meters above sea level.
Regarding the percentage I assign to posts on CCS, thank you for your honesty. You're the second person to tell me I'm giving a low rating. I'm going to review my scoring criteria and take your request into account, my friend.
Although in the future, I'll probably select some of your posts for artonsteemit.
Hugs
🎉 Congratulations!
