You have some splendid and very well-crafted photos. As you say, they deserve to be used as screensavers or posters. I understand that the rain is sabotaging your insect-catching trips. But you could have taken advantage and investigated more about the common names of that grasshopper.
Another trick is to use (if possible) some reference object that allows us to compare the size of the insects. (You could use a coin, a pencil, a match, a ruler, for example). In that sense, it would have been good to mention the length; they seem to be between 2 and 4 centimeters.
The other point is to include the coordinates (you can get them on Google Maps), just by including the place where you took the photo. This gives credibility to your observations for scientific purposes.

You shared an excellent post with us, both in terms of photography, research, and anecdotal information, regarding this species of fly.
It's great that you included the location on Google Maps; that made it easier to link it to the Eco-Lens Map.
In the future, be careful with the title; it's simple:

Use this format: "Insect Name + Country"

Mentioning that you did your research on Google is good, but remember to include links to the sources you consulted. I hope to see you in week six of the contest.
