Greetings, friends of CCS. With this post, I begin a series recording observations of animal and plant specimens. We currently have several tools available that allow us to identify the species and classification taxon of the organisms we photograph.

Although I investigated using Google Lens, I also performed a search. I didn't discover any further details regarding its name and nomenclature. As I mentioned at the beginning, the resemblance is to a genus of land snails. This is how I described them in the Inaturalist post, genus Plagioptycha by @joslud. |
