Friends of CCS. July is moving quickly. Today I brought photographs of flowers, which I took in a dear friend's garden.

Amigos de CCS. El mes de julio avanza rápidamente. Hoy traje fotografías de flores, estas las obtuve en el jardín de una querida amiga.

The Model: Tradescantia sillamontana

It is the flower of a succulent plant called "Tradescantia sillamontana." I discovered this thanks to a Google image search, which this time provided very accurate results. The flower measures no more than 3 centimeters when open.

Es la flor de una planta suculenta, llamada "Tradescantia sillamontana," esto lo descubrí gracias la búsqueda de imágenes de Google, que en esta oportunidad, brindó resultados muy exactos. El tamaño de la flor no supera los 3 centímetros cuando está abierta.

The flower has a beautiful color, a light violet that can sometimes appear more or less saturated depending on the time of day. The contrast between the intense saffron color of its pistils and the yellow and orange is interesting.

La flor tiene un color muy hermoso, es un color violeta claro, que a veces, dependiendo de la hora, puede verse más o menos saturado. Es interesante el contraste del color de sus pistilos, de un intenso azafrán, entre amarillo y anaranjado.

Another element that makes the flower stand out is the hairy covering of its leaves. These look like they're wrapped in cobwebs. And they help the flowers stand out against that background of color and texture.

Otro elemento que hace destacar a la flor, es el vello que recubre sus hojas. Estas parecen envueltas en telarañas. Y ayudan a que las flores resalten sobre ese fondo de color y textura.

For editing, I used the Lightroom app. I wanted to highlight the colors, purples and greens, to create a visually appealing composition. I also cropped to vary the framing of the shots. I hope you like it.

Para la edición, emplee la app Lightroom, quise resaltar los colores, violetas y verdes, para crear una composición atractiva visualmente. También hice recortes para variar los encuadres de las tomas. Espero les gusten.
