Greetings, CCS friends. Today I'm presenting a session dedicated to some light switches on the various light bulbs in the house. Suddenly, their condition caught my attention, and I decided to photograph them.
Saludos amigos de CCS. Presento en este día una sesión dedicada a algunos botones de encendido de los diferentes bombillos de la casa. De repente su estado me llamó la atención y me decidí a fotografiarlos.

One of the characteristics of these little friends is how easily they take on configurations resembling human features. The holes and screws can look like eyes, the button can look like a nose, and the rest could be mistaken for a head or face.
Una de las características de estos pequeños amigos, es la facilidad conque adoptan configuraciones parecidas a las facciones humanas. Los orificios y tornillos pueden parecer ojos, el botón la nariz y el resto pudiese ser tomado como la cabeza o la cara.

This one, for example, with just one screw and tilted, looks like someone with an eye patch, or someone who was hit and has a black eye, or someone who is one-eyed. And the reflected light on the lower part resembles a mouth. Y el brillo reflejado en la parte baja, hace como la boca.
Este por ejemplo con solo un tornillo y en posición ladeada pareciera alguien con un parche en el ojo, o que fue golpeado y tiene el ojo amoratado, o que es tuerto.

The ivory color, resembling old bone, gives them an interesting aura that, combined with the stains from frequent use, gives them a hint of age, just like a fossil or an ancient relic.
El color marfil parecido al hueso viejo, les otorga un halo interesante que sumado a las manchas por el uso frecuente, lo tiñen de antigüedad tal y como de un fósil o una reliquia antigua se tratara.

The editing was minimal, just adding a vignette or highlighting the colors. Or, conversely, cropping or flipping one or the other.
La edición fue mínima, apenas para darles una viñeta o resaltar los colores. O, por el contrario, recortar o voltear una que otra. Espero les gusten.

Wow! The reflection of human faces in the switches is truly an amazing imagination.
It is not everyone's cup of tea to find such artistry in small things.
Marfil colours, the dust of time, and that one-eyed expression - as if an old memory is smiling.
Now whenever I see a switch, I may not be able to ignore it."
