The Mysterious Roommate
At first, when Ronnie came to stay with Timothy, in his house everything about him looked so real. He was well dressed, so polite and well spoken with bold confidence about himself and to those who knew where he was coming from and going to in life. What Ronnie had told Timothy was that his purpose of coming to the city was to start and an importation business so he can save money which is the reason he has chosen to share room with him so he can achieve his dream so easily. Timothy was so impressed by his ambition and the manner at which he speak which he didn't waste time to accept him into his house.
Everything seemed fine in the first week of his stay with Timothy. Ronnie hardly spends his time at home with Timothy, who always claims to be so busy attending meetings with his suppliers and potential clients. He usually returns in the evenings, and whenever he returns, he always feels so cheerful and ready to share stories about the opportunities he had in his business. Timothy admired his lifestyle, but always wondered why Ronnie had never spoken in detail about his supposed trade nor mentioned the name of any of his business partners to his hearing.
On a faithful evening, Timothy returned home earlier than he usually does. He met his door ajar, and as he inserted, he saw Ronnie kneeling beside his bed, pulling a heavy bag from underneath. Timothy couldn't say anything as he was so curious about what he saw. As Ronnie noticed, he then unzipped the bag carefully, revealing a strange collection of tools, saws, bunches of keys, iron cutters, a glass, and a small pistol, which was seen under the light.
Timothy got shocked and his heart skipped. Businessmen who are into export and import don't need burglary tools or guns. As Ronnie noticed him, his unease grew. For a short moment, their eyes locked. Ronnie smiled briefly and zipped the bag shut and said to Timothy "Ah, Timothy you came back home early today." His voice was slow, but Timothy had already known what he was up to.
Timothy couldn't sleep that night as he kept hearing the click of metal tools and the gun he saw in his head. He started wondering and regretting letting Ronnie into his house. A thief, he said, A spy, ot something worse, more than these, which could be a criminal using business to cover up his illegal way of life.
Timothy decided to confront Ronnie the next day, which he began cautiously and said to him, "The last night I saw you with some tools. What are the tools for? They don't look like something someone who's into import and export would use."`
Ronnie couldn't say anything as his expression was hardened. For a moment, Timothy thought that he would lash out. But instead, Ronnie sat down as he sighed. `"You're right. I lied to you," he admitted. But not for the reason that you think. I am not a criminal. I'm an intelligence government officer. Those tools that you saw are for surveillance, entry, and sometimes protection. I am here for a mission, for which I can tell you everything if you wish to know, and so Timothy tapped the bag carefully.
Timothy replied and said, " I disagree with you. Are you a spy?
Ronnie replied and said yes something like that. As I have said I work for a government agency. The business I told you about is my cover story which you weren't supposed to know about.
In conclusion, Ronnie started living with doubt, with whom Timothy had a roommate in an unverified manner.

We encountered a variety of people in the community, but we feel uneasy having a roommate that acted strangely. Some people are dishonest; Ronnie is not one of those individuals, and he is not a dangerous man in our opinion.Good luck with the challenge.

The worst part about life and people is that those who are dishonest in their dealings are always the first to hype themselves or look for something flattering to say about themselves. The case of Ronnie vs Timothy can tell more, and at the end of the story, Timothy didn't become a victim of any crime for trying to help. This means sometimes the help we give to others can come back and hunt us because people view things differently.
