The morning rain and my lazy sleep😆

Hello dear friends,
I hope you all are doing well and spending a beautiful life with your loved ones. I wish you all happiness and peace.

Yesterday was overwhelmingly hot for most of the day. The scorching sun showed no mercy, and the absence of a breeze made things worse. My body felt exhausted, and as night fell, the humid, sticky heat made it nearly impossible to sleep comfortably.

I’ve always loved rain especially at night. When everything around is silent, the gentle sound of raindrops feels like a soothing melody. It brings a strange kind of peace and serenity to sleep. Last night, I hoped for a shower by dawn, but without certainty, I poured cold water over myself before going to bed around midnight to cool off a bit.

At around 4:30 AM, I was suddenly awakened. Cold water droplets were hitting my skin through the open window. For a few moments, I was confused, but when I looked outside, I saw the sky had burst open! Heavy rain was pouring down, soaking everything. The rhythmic sound of the rain combined with the feel of those cool droplets made it seem like nature herself had gently woken me up.

I shut the window and went back to sleep—and that sleep was so deep and so peaceful that I didn’t wake up until after 10 in the morning! As I opened my eyes and looked at the clock, my heart skipped a beat my office starts at 9 AM! I had overslept by more than an hour.

I quickly called my office to apologize and explain everything. It felt even worse because it was the last working day of the month—a time when punctuality is especially important.

This small incident made me reflect on a few things. Sometimes we become so connected with nature that we forget our real-world responsibilities.

At times, the comfort of sleep can overpower even the ticking of the clock.
But at the end of the day, it's our sense of responsibility that keeps us moving forward.

This peaceful morning rain gave me a memory to cherish, but also a mistake to learn from. From now on, I plan to set an alarm before sleeping and make sure my windows are properly closed! 😄

But my love for rain? That hasn’t changed one bit.Because rain isn’t just a gift of nature—it’s a rest for the soul.

Thanks all
