People's Attraction to Artificial Beauty and the Neglect of Nature.
Hello dear friends,
I hope you all are doing well and spending a beautiful life with your loved ones. I wish you all happiness and peace.
Nature is an essential part of our lives. For a healthy life, a clean environment, and mental peace, there is no alternative to nature. Yet in today’s modern world, people are gradually moving away from nature. Ignoring the natural beauty, we are becoming more attracted to artificial beauty. A clear example of this is the growing interest in artificial flowers, trees, and fruits.
Once upon a time, almost every house had its own garden full of different kinds of flowers. Roses, marigolds, jasmine, tuberose, and colorful butterflies were common sights in the yard. Not just flowers, people used to grow various vegetables and fruits around their homes. These practices not only added beauty and provided food but also played an important role in protecting the environment.
But with time, people's lifestyles have changed. In the busy city life, the touch of nature has become rare. People have lost the patience to plant trees or grow flowers. Instead of caring for nature, they are leaning towards easy and hassle-free artificial alternatives. As a result, the demand for artificial flowers, fruits, and plants is increasing day by day. In the market or in home decorations, plastic flowers have become very common.
This change is driven by modernity, lack of time, and the desire for easy solutions. Artificial flowers never fade, need no care, no water, and last for years. Many people think this is convenient. But behind this convenience lies a big problem: we are slowly becoming disconnected from nature.
Artificial flowers, fruits, or plants can never be a true replacement for nature. They have no life, no fragrance, no contribution to the environment. On the other hand, a real tree not only provides oxygen but also plays a role in preserving biodiversity. Birds make nests, bees collect nectar from flowers, and humans find peace of mind through nature.
Especially in cities, children are growing up surrounded by concrete walls and artificial products. They are missing the real charm of nature—the sound of leaves rustling, the fragrance of flowers, the earthy smell of soil. Gradually, the new generation is becoming detached from nature, which increases the risk of future environmental disasters.
If we continue to replace nature with artificial beauty, the environmental crisis will only get worse. Climate change, global warming, air pollution, and biodiversity loss—these problems can only be addressed if we rebuild our connection with nature.
So, we need a change in mindset. We can take small steps—like planting trees on rooftops or balconies, encouraging children to love nature, and avoiding artificial products to bring back the vibrant colors of the natural world. We must remember: if nature survives, we survive. There is no alternative to nature.
Finally, I would say—it’s not too late to show our love for nature. Let’s all return to nature together—let the fragrance of flowers, the song of birds, and the shade of greenery become part of our lives once more. Only then will our lives truly be beautiful.
Thanks all
