Hello dear friends,
I hope you all are doing well and spending a beautiful life with your loved ones. I wish you all happiness and peace.

Every day of our lives brings new experiences. Some of them leave such a deep mark on our hearts that we can never forget them. Recently, I too had such an experience—buying a mobile phone for my niece from Bashundhara City Complex in Dhaka.

My niece is a student at Sylhet MC College, and her father works abroad in Saudi Arabia. A few months back, she went through a tragic incident. While she was staying at her aunt’s house, a gang of robbers broke in at night. They held everyone hostage and looted valuables worth around seven to eight lakh taka, including her mobile phone. Since then, she had been using an old phone given by her aunt. But at a young age, having a personal smartphone of good quality feels more like a necessity than just luxury. So, she asked her father for a new phone. Her father sent 45,000 taka to her mother’s account, and later my sister transferred that amount to me.

Last Tuesday, my niece came to my house, and the following Wednesday we went together to Bashundhara City Complex. It was her very first visit there, and I could clearly see the excitement in her eyes. I gave her a tour around the whole shopping mall—the fashion floors, restaurants, and even the gaming zones. She truly enjoyed every bit of it.

But our main purpose was to buy a phone. After roaming around various showrooms for some time, her eyes caught sight of a brand-new Samsung model—Samsung Galaxy A56 5G. The design and features instantly captivated her. Honestly, the phone looked amazing. The official showroom price was much higher, but we managed to buy it unofficially for 44,000 taka from Bashundhara City.

Of course, the expenses did not end there. We had to buy an adapter and a glass protector, which cost another 1,500 taka. Things at Bashundhara City are generally quite expensive, but since these accessories were essential for the phone’s safety, we had no other choice.

The happiness on my niece’s face after getting the phone made everything worth it. I hadn’t seen her this cheerful in a long time. The sadness of losing her previous phone seemed to fade away. Holding the new device in her hands, she repeatedly said with a smile, “Uncle, I really love this phone!”

Her first visit to Bashundhara City will remain a memorable experience for her. It wasn’t just about buying a mobile phone; it was about moving on from a painful chapter of life and embracing happiness again. Life always has its ups and downs, but with the love and support of close ones, every hardship becomes easier to bear.

This entire experience was special for me too. Because there is a unique joy in making a loved one happy. Buying that phone from Bashundhara City will remain a sweet memory not only in her life but also in mine.

Thanks all
