One day, my mother-in-law suddenly fell ill. Before she fell ill, my husband and his younger brother were standing next to my mother-in-law and talking. Suddenly, my mother-in-law said that my body was burning. And while she was saying this, the excess gas increased in a moment and she fell ill. Everyone at home was hoping that she would recover with primary treatment, but somehow she did not recover. So she was quickly admitted to the Upazila Health Complex. But unfortunately, she was kept there for a night and given oxygen. But the doctors could not recover her there, so they transferred her to Kushtia General Hospital. My mother-in-law was taken to Kushtia General Hospital. She was in a bad condition. She was lying like a dead body, she had no movement. Our family suddenly descended into tears.

She was quickly taken to Kushtia General Hospital in an ambulance and then admitted. Although a doctor was available in the emergency department, no treatment was available. Doctors kept coming and coming, the patient was kept there from 10 am to 1 pm, but no doctor was seen. However, in the afternoon, some doctors were seen and they did some tests. Then, mother-in-law was left on the floor, no cabin or bed was arranged. Because there were so many patients here, it was difficult to find a free bed. However, the doctors allowed her to do some tests. While all those tests were being done, the afternoon passed and evening began to fall. At that time, my mother-in-law was still sick and not moving.

The doctors did various tests. After waiting for a long time, the results came. The doctor could not find any such problem. But he could not say why he was unconscious. They said that he would regain consciousness in 75 hours. We kept waiting. He remained unconscious for 48 hours. However, the doctors assured him that he would regain consciousness very soon and recover. But they could not say exactly why he suddenly fell ill. However, they said that it was due to excess pressure and increased gas.

Then at night the doctor said that my mother-in-law needs to be fed some food, which is milk. We thought about how to feed someone who cannot open their mouth. Then the doctors came and put a tube in her nose. Liquid milk will be given through the nose through the team. They handed her a paper saying that all these things must be accepted. Now women cannot go and bring these things from outside at night. My brother and sister-in-law were present at that time, and my brother said that I will bring them. Anyway, my brother brought all these things from a pharmacy. The pharmacy was outside the hospital. Meanwhile, we continued to look after her and my brother brought the necessary things including milk.

Then my brother started feeding his mother, i.e. my mother-in-law, with great care, mixed milk through the nose. He also brought food from the shop for us. At that time, we had no food arrangements. Whatever we ate, we had to buy food from the shop. I was in a very difficult situation. But what can be done? If such a tragedy suddenly comes to our lives, there is nothing we can do. However, we were all remembering the great creator and praying to the great creator for the life of my mother-in-law. And like this, another day passed while we were lying in bed sick. The next day at 11 pm, the doctor suddenly said that he would regain consciousness tonight. Because their tests showed that it was not a major accident. He was supposed to regain consciousness within 75 hours, in that case, there is a possibility of regaining consciousness even earlier. However, we saw that he regained consciousness around 12 am. Then he asked us what happened to me, where am I, what time is it today, etc. Then he was told that we left our house and stayed at Kushtia Hospital. You have been sick for two days and you have not regained consciousness. After hearing that you were in such a sick condition, you broke down in tears. The boy who was next to you and we cried with you. We consoled you. We consoled you and said that you are not in any problem, it is because of the gas and pressure.

However, the next day, the doctor released us and told us to take the specific medicines home and take them as prescribed. We bought the medicines as per the prescription given by the doctor and then a reserve car was called from the house. Mother-in-law Amma was brought home in that reserve car.
