When the rice season arrives, a wonderful scene of farmers busy in the village fields is seen. And bloggers like us love to capture these busiest moments on camera. As soon as the dawn breaks, farmers go down to their crop fields. First, they use plows or modern machinery to cultivate the land and make the soil fertile. The most modern power tillers used in Bangladesh, tractors and buffaloes, etc. The smell of the soil, the smell of mud, and the sweat on the farmer's forehead create a unique atmosphere. Farmers collect seedlings from the rice seedbed and carefully bring them to the field. If you look at the photographs carefully, you will understand how beautiful rice seedlings they have produced. In this case, we can say that the farmers of our country are very skilled and advanced. Some carry the seedlings on their heads, some in ox carts, and some in modern vehicles. Water accumulates in the cultivated land, and the farmers stand in rows in that water and plant the seedlings.
The green young rice seedlings move quickly in their hands, and the land is filled with greenery in an instant. The farmers, smiling, dipping their feet in the mud, and talking to each other, start planting seedlings. Sometimes, we see the farmers singing beautifully in the middle of the field, and we, the passers-by, hear their beautiful songs from the road. On the one hand, the hard work of the farmers, on the other hand, the beauty of nature all combine to make the scene mesmerizing. Along with planting rice, the farmers are also busy taking care of the land. They sweat in all the work of applying fertilizers, clearing weeds, and irrigating. They know that this rice will one day become a golden crop, bring smiles to their families, and fill the country's treasury. Then, the melodious calls of the farmers, the sounds of bullock carts, and the songs of farming can be heard around the field. However, another thing that cannot be ignored is that when the farmers cultivate the crop land, many birds come to the crop land.
Along with this, other birds come to eat insects while the work of ploughing is going on. This scene is not just a story of the farmer's livelihood, but a beautiful glimpse of rural life in Bengal. Farmers provide us with food through their hard work, so this busy scene of them is actually an integral part of our life and culture. Just as they produce crops for us and provide food for our mouths, they also create opportunities for many birds through farming. This constantly makes our agricultural land fertile, crops are produced, and the tireless work of the farmers creates food for the mouths of countless people. And in that case, it can be said that a large amount of rice is grown in our Meherpur region. Mainly because of the tireless work of the farmers. So we are indebted to them.
