Summer rainy day
This year, I'm photographing rain like never before – starting with the warm winter, when it rained instead of snow, continuing with summer rains and people with umbrellas.
I had one attempt a year to shoot a photo essay about the rain, in particular about the downpour.
But it always came down to one or two times and no more.
Now I have become so versatile that if it rains, I will always capture it.
It turns out that all precipitation in the form of snow or rain was photographed by me.
And this is not once a year, but every time!
What will happen to me in the future? If I take pictures more and more often every year.
I keep statistics on the number of photos per year and it's only growing.
If five years ago I could shoot rain once a year, snowfall once, heat, overcast, graphics...everything is one-time...
Now this happens once a month.
For example, it rained three times in August, then the heat, the aurora borealis, moonrise and sunset, various events, and I also managed to go to the dugouts...
Will it all happen in a day? Or is there a limit?
...Taking pictures in the rain is both easy and dangerous.
I've never worn a raincoat or carried an umbrella.
And my camera is without additional moisture protection.
I hide my equipment under my jacket, or I hide under the roof myself.
In general, light rain allows you to take pictures without problems, and it is difficult to save anything from a downpour.
Telephoto lenses always have a longer lens hood, and they convey the atmosphere of the scene better, so I prefer a long focus in the rain.
But if you have an umbrella, a rain cover, and a protective camera case, it's always better and quieter.
You will always find something to shoot on the reportage wave.
If it's a city, then there will be people in the frame, which means that the weather conditions are not important.
Any weather phenomenon will be better revealed when there is a person in the frame.
After all, a person is always the main character!
To be continued...
