Iron suspended bridge over Vologda river

Photographing bridges can rightfully be considered one of the most important topics that I touch on! If you dig through my entire archive, the bridges will be the earliest. The love of suspension bridges began in early childhood.

There are currently only three suspension bridges across the Vologda River. When there are ten bridges on the Toshna (a tributary of Vologda).

One of them is metal, located in the village of Molochnoye.

The bridge leads to the village of Popovka, which is adjacent to Marfino.

I love bridges! There's something metaphysical about them, like a portal to another world.

...Warm summer nights are conducive to such walks.

When the weather doesn't steal attention, it doesn't distract, then you can immerse yourself in the sensations with your head.

It's a pity, because of the high water level, there was no sandbank, from which in 2023 I photographed the bridge while swimming in the river.

But in general, this structure is visible from the shore quite well from all four sides.

The topic of bridges is very interesting and I am ready to seriously tackle it in parallel with the dugouts.
