Moonlit night over Vologda
The study of the new moonset point has shown that it has the right to a great existence! But to be honest, the point is not entirely new to me – it is a well-forgotten old one.
Once upon a time, five years ago, I took pictures of the moon from these angles.
This time I used a teleconverter to bring the celestial body as close as possible.
And besides, there are no identical weather conditions.
Even in the usual perspective with the moon rising or setting, the plot will always be different.
This time we were lucky with the sky: the clouds took over all the attention and was like drawn.
But there is also a disadvantage of the presence of clouds – the moon then disappeared, then came out again.
Or maybe even disappear altogether and never show up again.
But it's still better than an over-illuminated disk when the sky is clear and dark.
...It is interesting to observe the movement of the sun and moon in other latitudes.
After all, a completely different scheme works there.
