Всем привет!	Hello everyone!
Эти фотографии я сделала 13 июня 2018 года. Мы с подругой отправлялись в речной круиз по Волге от Северного речного вокзала в Москве.	I took these photos on June 13, 2018. My friend and I were going on a river cruise along the Volga from the Northern River Terminal in Moscow.
Это красивой здание – яркий представитель архитектуры сталинского ампира. Строить его начали в 1933 г. одновременно со строительством канала Москва-Волга. На этих стройках использовался труд заключённых Дмитровлага.	This beautiful building is a striking example of Stalinist Empire architecture. Its construction began in 1933, simultaneously with the construction of the Moscow-Volga Canal. The labor of prisoners from Dmitrovlag was used at these construction sites.
Этот вокзал стал первым речным вокзалом в СССР, в котором уделили внимание эстетической стороне. Алексей Рухлядев и Владимир Кринский вдохновлялись венецианскими мотивами при проектировании галерей с колоннами. Здание имеет различные украшения: и колонны, и скульптуры, и лепнина, и медальоны.	This station was the first river station in the USSR to pay attention to the aesthetic side. Alexey Rukhlyadev and Vladimir Krinsky were inspired by Venetian motifs when designing the galleries with columns. The building has various decorations: columns, sculptures, stucco, and medallions.

Интересно, что по первоначальному проекту шпиль во время навигации должен был подниматься на высоту 83 метра и опускаться на время её прекращения в зимний период. Интересный ход. Жаль, что это не было реализовано.	It is interesting that according to the original design, the spire was supposed to rise to a height of 83 meters during navigation and lower when it stopped in winter. An interesting move. It is a pity that it was not implemented.
Звезда, венчающая шпиль делалась отдельно, но в то же время, что и первый комплект кремлевских звезд. На башнях Кремля звёзды были позже заменены, а на Северном речном вокзале осталась именно та, что и была изначально установлена.	The star crowning the spire was made separately, but at the same time as the first set of Kremlin stars. The stars on the Kremlin towers were later replaced, and the one that was originally installed remained at the Northern River Station.
К сожалению, в начале 21 века вокзал пришёл в аварийное состояние и долгое время не находилось средств на его реконструкцию.	Unfortunately, at the beginning of the 21st century, the station fell into disrepair and for a long time there were no funds for its reconstruction.
От причала отправлялись в плавание корабли, а здание вокзала было огорожено забором и не функционировало.	Ships set sail from the pier, and the station building was fenced off and did not function.
Лишь недавно, осенью 2020 года отреставрированное здание было открыто. Но я ещё не была около обновлённого Северного речного вокзала.	Only recently, in the fall of 2020, the restored building was opened. But I have not yet been near the renovated Northern River Station.
