My Latest Adventure: A Fun Dive into Steem RetroGames

Today was an exciting day on Steem RetroGames as I just finished a lively session playing, and I am quite enjoying the platform which has a library of all manner of retro and arcade style games. There is a wide range of fun, which includes puzzle games and action-packed shooters.

I was the greater part of the day to-day on "Space Invasion". The controls are presented in an easy to follow manner and are easy to learn on the start screen in the game. You move by the arrow keys and fire by the space bar. The objective is to endure onslaughts of extraterrestrial invADers. The old graphics and audio sounds create a superb nostalgic atmosphere to the game.

I have been able to eliminate a number of waves and was presented with several types of alien adversaries, some even with more than one eye and with disgruntled facial expressions. It was hard work trying to evade their attacks and at the same time attacking their weak areas. The non-stop dynamic action and the increasing number of foes in every wave made me sit right on the edge of my seat.

Once I passed a couple of rounds in Space Invasion, I tried Steem Pong as well. It is a variant of the traditional arcade game where one must be able to strike a ball back and forth in order to earn score. My best time was scoring 516 in one of my games and I was glad with this. The interface used is simple and clean which enables one to concentrate on the play.

The fact that this can be paired with the Steem blockchain is what makes this platform especially enjoyable. It is cool to understand that my playing activity and the scores can be incorporated into the blockchain environment. Steem RetroGames serve as a good example to show how fun the retro gaming can be combined with the creativity of the blockchain.

On the whole, today was a lot of fun playing these games. Not only are they exciting and interesting but they offer an innovative interface with the block chain. I have already been anticipating my next session and trying to top my scores.
