Photography has been one of my greatest hobby, source of income and inspiration. I have been taking pictures of nature for years now approximately 3years, I have numerous experiences about capturing tiny insects and other natural habitats.

Seeing contest pertaining to photography gives me joy because I have alot of JPEGs to share to the world, My experiences with nature needs to be shared and felt by others too. Much thanks to the contest organiser and the community for working hand in hand to make this very contest available.

Capturing macro insects needs just more than device which is creativity. I have been doubted by so many people that I use digital camera for my macro shots. Questions they do ask, how did you capture that insect size? Were you close to the insect?, this very quality is not from a mobile phone. I also make BTS most times to serve them best. About Dragonfly

Dragonfly is a well known flying insect with a slender body which normally stays around water bodies and plants. Dragonfly has a pair of transparent wings with multifaceted eyes.

Dragonflies are known to be fast flying insects that doesn't stay on one spot for long. The move fast backwards, forwards and however making them hard to catch and predict.

Habitat
Dragonflies are seen around freshwater bodies which aids their reproduction and support the flight strength.
Dragonflies makes younger ones through the help of fresh water bodies.

Behaviour
Dragonflies posses specific qualities that helps them which are strong wings, good eyesight and speed. Dragonflies feed on tiny insects like mosquito.

My experience
My experience was quite cool, I didn't stress much capturing it. I took several shots of the dragonfly, I mean to my satisfaction before moving out of the scene.
