To zoom is human, to zoom with clarity, divine
It is fun to see distant objects with a camera phone which shoots comparatively more detailed photos.
Last April third when my father parked the car to buy some bread from the local grocery shop which sells cheaper products I was left in the car baking on the hottest time of the day which is around 2:00 PM. Our car has an A/C system but my sister's husband told m father that it need some cooling liquid which is why it is not being operated when we are use the car.
I also had given-up the attempt of fixing it, i.e. giving my father money to have it working again because in the first place my father doesn't like to turn it on citing that it burdens the engine and thus uses too much gas with an already gas guzzler engine which is supposed to be thrifty in fuel consumption.
Then if the car has an A/C he will not turn it to better cool the car until he turns it off and tell us to open the windows because the A/C couldn't handle the heat of the day if not it is already night if it is night time already and we do not need the A/C anymore. For this situation about my father's concern being quite so paranoid about the factor of A/Cs additional gas consumption, I already accepted that I can never enjoy riding a car with A/C if my father will drive it.
Well so much for that, I was left at the parking lot of the small grocery store and I just had the idea of photographing the small hanging Indian mango from its tree quite a distance away from where I am. First I tried to take photos of it an the other still unripe but edible Indian mangoes.
Then an idea came to me to make photos of it closer and closer with the zoom functionality of this awesome phone that I have which I am really happy to own because not only the zoom function can take great distances of things, it also has a very good clarity compared to other top camera phones which this phone's camera beats in many aspects like clarity and quality of the images.
One great feature of the zoom function of this phone is that it "catches" the object's image and this telling you that it focused enough to take the shot. Considering that I am holding my phone freely (without a stand), I am still able to get very good zoom shots of this very distant object which is good enough for sharing.
It is nice to have some opportunities like in this instance where I can use my camera phone to produce nice photos because it really makes me feel good. I often share my photos in my Facebook and show it to some of my contacts and friends and make them wonder why their camera phone cannot do the same. Well I guess that having a phone with great camera matters a lot especially if you like taking photos and produce a product like you are a professional.
When me and my father takes the other rout e to and from my dialysis clinic, we will pass-by a commercial garden that sells plants. Sometimes I see unusual flowers that I had never seen before which is a great subject for sharing in social media like this. But again I can't take a photo of it because I can't just tell my father to stop the car or even if I do he will say that it is an inconvenience if not passing the flower too far enough that he will not be willing to reverse the car for me to take a shot of it. My problem of mobility plus the fact that we are on a busy road are factors that gives me problems with having subjects that I can photoshoot with but maybe I can try to tell my father to stop the car and if he does, I can take the shot.
