My Cryptid Hunter Saga - Day 31 - Let's Get The Numbers Out!!

I made a big mistake yesterday. I had a plan that after a month of playing this game, I would share my numbers with you all. That day supposed to be yesterday, but due to a hectic day, I forgot about it. So let me repent it today.

Today I won't share my update nor my progress, let's talk about the numbers here, my numbers of playing this game. I hope with these numbers, you can get a big picture about this game, especially if you are a new players or someone who is still smaller than me.

The Numbers

a month consists of 30 days, so I have paid about 2.5 STEEM x 30 days. Sum it all, it becomes 75 STEEM. We need to spend 75 STEEM per month to run this game, or it's around US $ 10.4.

I believe the top 40 players are doing this, not even reaching top 50. So our developer only gets 40x $10,4 = US $ 400 per month from revolving payment, which I do not see it is something that great and majestic. It is so small.

I know Energy Flesk is not the sole income of this game. We still have pack sales, and maybe some other streams that I might have missed. But still, Cryptid Hunter should be around the incubation level, not yet reaching 10K or more in monthly based.

The Fact

You know, I might be wrong but why I do feel so right about this? Let see my first post about Cryptid

When I started this game, I was on rank 26 with an attack power of 210. That's a month ago.

Today my attack power is 392, it is almost doubled the first day however my rank is dropping to 30. It means there are 29 players who are a legit users and paying more STEEM than me.

In order to grow faster, you need to spend more. The more you spend, let say you buy Hunter pack at promotional volume, you will get bigger discount and bonuses. You might get 30-40% more than you get from buying hunter pack individually.

However it is a valid argument that the more a user grow faster, the more they pay for this game. I do not see any significant change after the top 40.

The Suggestion

I can understand what he is experiencing in developing this game on STEEMIT, and I can agree with most of what he has said there although it is not at 100% agreement. I know my position, my power, and aware that butt in with big guys talk could end up with my own death. I plan to live long here on STEEMIT so I decide to shut my mouth tight there.

However I need to address this explicitly, in order this game to grow bigger and faster, people need to be generous. I am not talking about spending your allowance money here, but let's be frank here. Spending $10-$11 per month is not something that put you out of money, unable to have some decent food on the table. In some part of this globe, it can be like that, but mostlikely it is not you who are in that case.

If you are active sharing your Cryptid Hunter contents here, even though you might not get all your posts upvoted by the booming accounts or other big voters, I believe getting $11 author rewards per month from Cryptid Hunter posts is something that very feasible. $11 Author reward means you get $22 booming upvote, or other upvote later when we are not getting that support anymore.

So I can say that you have a clear shot of getting funded to play this game for free if you engage well. Nothing to lose here, only your willingness to spend some time supporting this game.
