My Cryptid Hunter Saga - Day 3 Get The Basic Concept
Hi Friends, welcome to my Cryptid Hunter Saga-blog!
Today is the 3rd day I have been playing this game. I think I have grasped majority of the game concept. Anyway before I go far with my post, for you who haven't got familiar with this game, you can check it directly on https://steem.cryptohunter.world/
This is an idle miner game, which in daily based you are mining a token called NOVA. In order to get eligible for mining NOVA, you must recharge your energy everytime it hits 0 by buying Energy Flask which costs you 0.05 STEEM. Remember this basic mechanism, you can only recharge your energy when it hits 0, and you must recharge it to 100% by consuming some Energy Flesk, range from 20 to 50 Energy Flesk. I do not know yet how they decide the volume, maybe it will change or vary in future based on certain condition such as token price.
So the whole concept is about converting your STEEM into NOVA throughout their gaming process. In the future where will be mechanism into converting NOVA to STEEM, but not today or somewhen near future because STEEMIT does not have Smart Contract, so there are things under development right now. But remember the basic concept, it is turning your STEEM into NOVA, and NOVA is their in-game currency which you need to develop your deck and buying some requirement for higher level dungeon.
As you can see on my landing page, at this point I have 93 NOVA which is valued at 0 USD. There is no price for NOVA yet because the market for trade and withdraw has not established yet. I should have had 120 NOVA but I did not play yesterday due to office works, which cause me forgot to recharge the energy.
So the cycle is simple, set your deck, mine NOVA, pay STEEM to fuel the Mining process, then you will get more NOVA. You can use NOVA to increase your mining rate, first by leveling up your cards, second is by expanding the slots in your deck, and the third is by getting more profitable mines which requires other stats such as minimum power of your deck and extra payment.
In my opinion this game is not fully released yet, because for a blockchain game, you need to trade your tokens and NFTS. Without the market, it is the same as conventional pay to win game. However it is back to you, do you believe this game can grow as the blockchain game or not. My main concern at the moment is about the game blockchain, whether they will migrate fully to STEEMIT, or they stay at TON, or they will run two version the TON and the STEEMIT one.
It is still a long road for Cryptid Hunter, but I see some glimps of good future from this game. I will stick for some time a head. Thank you for visiting my Cryptid Hunter Saga, I will update later in a few days after I find something interesting again. Adios!
