Hike to the Haviland Bay Lookout

Havilland Bay is located 38 km north of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario on the
Trans-Canada Highway 17.

To access the lookout, you will need to park at the Lori’s Restaurant or the Havilland Shores Beach. The trail is a blue side trail of the Voyageur Trail. Look for the Hiker sign north across the highway from the restaurant, or if you are coming from the beach it is directly across from the Sault Ste. Marie 40 km sign. Cross the highway carefully and put on your snowshoes before crossing into the bush.
