A Day of My Life as an Uncle

Today, I want to share with you my "A Day of My Life as an Uncle" vlog. A month ago, I asked my brother to stay in and help me renovate our ancestral house in the mountainous area. He nodded and he worked on it in three weeks, and within that timeframe, my brother, his wife, and three children were out of a source of income. When my brother and his family returned to the city, his son, Marjayb (my godson), asked me to buy him a school supply as the back-to-school season was fast approaching. It reminded me that his father (my brother) was jobless for 3 weeks. So, I decided to buy school supplies for both his son and daughter. It's all about giving back to my brother for his sacrifices for us.

Coin Bank

The expenses for house renovation were all mine, so I am all out of budget. So, I decided to open this "alkansiya" or coin bank of mine, and get PHP2000 (94,000 Steem Dollars). And I said, "Let's see! Saan aabot ang 2k pesos ko?". I went to Unitop, one of the stores with the lowest prices. The store was very crowded, and it took 2 hours for me to look for the school supplies. Here's what I got:

10 - Writing Notebooks (for Grade 5)
10 - Composition Notebooks (for Grade 3)
5 - Intermediate Paper (for Grade 5)
10 - Writing Pad (for Grade 3)
100 - Long Bond Paper
80 - Short Bond Paper
2 boxes of 24 crayons
2 packs of rulers and protractors
1 Hello Kitty Bag
1 box of pencils
5 pieces of ballpens
10 erasers
5 of 1/2 lengthwise of the intermediate paper
5 of 1/2 crosswise of the intermediate paper
5 of 1/4 intermediate paper
2 plastic envelopes
and many more..

The total of these items was PHP 2002.00 (94,094 Steem Dollars). By God's grace, I brought PHP 300.00 (14,000 Steem Dollars) extra money.

Saan aabot ang 2k pesos mo?

I imagined that if my previous partner had not aborted our child, maybe I would be more excited to do this. Maybe it was not yet time to have my own family. I'll just focus on my nieces and nephews as of the moment.

I am very happy to share my blessings with my brothers and sisters in need. I am so happy to have those who supported me from the start to the finish. My nephews and nieces are my happiness. I always told them to study hard and keep dreaming. I will support them.
