Barbowl’s Japanese Fusion Delights You Can’t Miss 🍤🍜

Lately, my husband and I have been eating out every day, mostly for lunch since it’s the most convenient meal for us. Most of the restaurants or cafes we visit are ones we discover through TikTok, which is currently the most popular social media platform in Thailand. Whether you're looking for recommendations or ideas, you can find what you need instantly with just a quick search. For today’s lunch, we decided to try "Barbowl." With the help of Google Maps, we set out on a little adventure to find this restaurant.
"Barbowl" is a cozy Japanese and fusion restaurant tucked beneath a small hotel in Phuket Town. As you step through the door, you’ll immediately notice a large bar counter adorned with numerous collectible figurines. The first thing you need to do upon arrival is place your order at the counter and pay right away. After we placed our order, I couldn’t resist taking a moment to explore the charming interior of the restaurant.
Large figurines are proudly displayed on the bar counter, each accompanied by a sign that says "Do Not Touch."
Smaller figurines are neatly showcased in glass cabinets, securely locked for protection.
Another corner features shelves filled with Japanese comic books, which guests are welcome to pick up and read.
While I was still busy taking photos, the staff brought our food and drinks to the table. Everything looked incredibly appetizing, and the portions were surprisingly large. Initially, we weren't sure if the food would taste good, but the positive reviews about the cozy ambiance convinced us to visit this place.
This dish is "Salmon Spaghetti." From the very first bite, I couldn’t help but exclaim, "Wow!" It was absolutely delicious. The spaghetti was perfectly tender, and the salmon was juicy and flavorful.
The second dish was salmon served on a whole piece of bread, topped with grated cheese, cherry tomatoes, and red onions. It resembled bruschetta but on an entire loaf of bread. The plate was beautifully garnished with lime and tomatoes. The flavor was absolutely delightful!
This dish was teriyaki chicken with rice. The rice was fragrant and soft, while the chicken had an incredibly flavorful taste. It was a comforting and satisfying meal!
The final dish was Fish Finger, a family favorite that we always order whenever it’s on the menu. This dish did not disappoint at all—it was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked! It’s no surprise that it’s a go-to choice for us.
After finishing our meal, I couldn’t resist taking a few more pictures to capture the charming details of this cozy restaurant. Each corner seemed to tell a story, making it a truly memorable visit.
Visiting "Barbowl" turned out to be such a delightful experience for us. The cozy ambiance, creative decor, and most importantly, the delicious food truly exceeded our expectations. It’s a place where every detail feels thoughtfully crafted, from the charming display of figurines to the beautifully plated dishes. Whether you're a fan of Japanese cuisine, fusion dishes, or just looking for a unique spot in Phuket, this restaurant is worth a visit.
