My Morning Walk

Greetings, friends.
Today I want to tell you about my morning walk. I usually take morning walks with my dog towards the river or to the old limestone quarry, which people now call the lake, and they enjoy spending time there on hot days.
But today I went with my dog to a ski track in the forest; however, this track is not skiable now because there is no snow.

As soon as I entered the forest, I immediately discovered this mushroom. Apparently, one of the animals has already tasted it.

Wow, this mushroom is more interesting. I'll even take this guy with the red hat home to show his wife and mom.
My mom loves to go into the woods and look for mushrooms, but for 2 weeks now, we have been experiencing hot weather and no rain. On Monday, Mom went to the forest, but she didn't find any good mushrooms.

People can walk in this nearby forest, so I keep the dog on a long leash. Also, my dog became aggressive towards other dogs. She has always been very good-natured to dogs, but last week she even attacked a dog and would not want to let go of a rival. But it's very strange why Nora started behaving this way.

This berry appears in the middle of July and does not disappear until autumn. In our region, it is called kostyanika.
I found the English names: "stone bramble" and "stone berry".
Why "stone"? Because there is a fairly hard stone inside the berry.

I came out of the forest and decided to walk along the road behind our village, along the mountain, and found a large clearing of chicory. This plant is used as a coffee substitute. More precisely, it is not a substitute for coffee, but a completely independent drink that is recommended to drink to improve health.

I think I've already shown this to a birch tree with its roots.

Wild raspberries on the outskirts of the village. These raspberries are always tastier than garden raspberries. This applies to all berries. As a child, my friends and I always went to the forest to pick berries, because our parents did not plant trees and bushes near the house, they worked in the forest, and they had no time to garden. It just didn't make sense, because there were always a lot of different berries in the forest.

This is a village fire reservoir, although it looks more like a muddy puddle. A few years ago 10, I was fishing for small crucians here with my children. But climate change led to the drying up of the stream in summer, the water in the pond stopped being renewed, and the vegetation in the pond began to rage.
This pond needs to be cleaned and deepened, but no one needs it; finances are needed for this.

I usually try to walk for about 1 hour in the morning if I stay at home working remotely, and I don't have to go to the office. But it was hot this morning, and the weather forecast says it will be like this for another week, then the temperature will become comfortable, no higher than 21 degrees Celsius.
After about half an hour of walking, I noticed that the dog was already tired, she was hot, and we returned home.

Friends, thank you for your attention.

I wish all of you good luck!

I will be glad to have your attention to my posts again.

What a beautiful place to go walking!!! I am not surprised that you make an effort to go every day! I have not been walking as much lately, because it is Winter here at the moment... and it is a lot easier to stay in a warm bed, lol.

Those chicory flowers are so lovely... I honestly did not even realise that chicory had a flower and definitely not such a pretty one. I drank a lot of that when I was pregnant, because I was not drinking coffee (obviously).

I understand what you are saying about your dog. Mine is the same, but he is actually also quite aggressive to other dogs as well - not because he has an aggressive nature, because he is actually a really loving little fur baby :D but he is just so insecure and everything scares him, so I suppose it is just a protective mechanism of sorts. I suppose we are all different, lol - including our dogs :D

Lovely post @apnigrich and I learned something new about chicory too, lol!

Have a wonderful Wednesday and week ahead!

Hey.
Chicory is an amazing flower. In the morning, it blooms to meet the Sun, and in the evening, all the buds curl up and are not visible.

Tonight I took my daughter and, of course, my dog for a walk to the river. I stayed on the river, and my daughter went home with the dog Nora. They met another dog that was barking at our Nora, but Nora didn't react to it at all. We don't know yet which dogs our Nora doesn't like.
