June Is Behind Us. What Are Its Results?
Greetings, friends.
The last day of June. What happened this month? Usually, only grass and the earliest vegetables grow in our garden in June, one of which is radish. Of course, the honeysuckle, which I mentioned earlier, is also ripening. This year, it has matured at least 3 weeks earlier than usual.
We have already harvested the second crop of radishes. The first time we planted it in the greenhouse, it was still snowing outside. The second time we planted radishes in an open garden. Heavy rains in the second half of June freed us from daily watering of the beds and also helped the radishes grow large and juicy.

Of course, we have fresh green onions, dill, arugula, lettuce leaves, mustard, and other herbs for salads, but this year we were especially pleased with spinach. It's big and delicious.

This spinach was planted in the greenhouse in the fall, but it came out of the ground in the spring, and although the temperature was negative outside, it was comfortable in the greenhouse, and we were surprised by its growth.
By the way, I forgot to mention basil, which can be seen in the photo.

This morning I went into the greenhouse and found a blackbird running around there. How did he get there? It's likely that he ran in last night, hiding from the rain, and we closed the doors.

Yesterday, my wife and our granddaughter collected the remains of radishes and beds, cleaned them, and put them in the refrigerator. But in the evening, she realized that she did not need to peel all the radishes so that they could be stored longer. Well, now we'll have radishes on the table every day.
