First time playing Steem Memory Game Fascination with memory games

When I opened the game for first time today, I was a little hesitant I thought it might be like a childs game. But soon I started playing, I became completely immersed in it without knowing it.

My task in the game was make pairs matching cards, and while doing so, I had to remember the previous images repeatedly. As I turned over one card after another, a map was being created in my head where is what picture. Interestingly, it is not just a game, but also a kind mental exercise.

During todays game I managed make 10 perfect matches out of 21 moves. It took me only 54 seconds. And the final score 1535. This felt like a huge achievement because it was my very first game. Looking at score breakdown, I realized that points are determined based time and moves, which makes it even more challenging.

The best thing was that while playing game, I was playing with complete concentration. No outside thoughts, stress, social media notifications—nothing could distract me. It felt like I had entered a new kind mindfulness.

After playing the game, I realized that not only fun, but also a very beneficial game for our brain. Such games play an important role in improving memory, increasing attention reducing stress.

Since it was my first experience, some mistakes were made, but there was an opportunity learn from it. Next time, I want complete the entire matches in less time and with fewer moves. Now I want play this game at least once a day. I am really happy introduced to such a game.
