Hi everyone, hope you are all well. Today I am going to share with you the recipe for a sweet dish that my professor @suboohi, Has given me as a homework assignment. For those who love sweets, this is the best filling dish that you can eat anytime, anywhere. It is loved by children and adults alike, and I myself eat it with great enthusiasm. I hope you will like the dish I made.

1.Have you ever tried any dessert that is made from vegetables? If you like any, give its name and why.

I have eaten a dessert made with carrots and pumpkin, and it looks very delicious. I like it because it is made from natural ingredients, that is, vegetables, and it has many health benefits, so I like to eat it.

2.Make any one of the recipes that you like most from fruits or vegetables, with a detailed step-by-step procedure along with images.

To make carrot halwa, I needed the following items:

IngredientsQuantity
Carrots1kg
Fresh Milk2kg
Cardamom4
SugarTo taste
Coconut20 grams
Almond20 grams
Raisin20 grams
Rice100 grams

Carrot halwa with milk

First, I washed the carrots thoroughly with water to remove any dirt or grime that was on them and to make them completely clean. Then, I peeled off the top layer with a knife and washed the carrots again.

Now I grated the carrots and they were all divided into small pieces.

Now I poured milk into a pot and placed it on the stove and turned on a low flame and left it to heat.

Now I added the small cardamom pods to the milk and along with it, I added the finely chopped carrots that I had with me and slowly started stirring the spoon.

I had soaked the rice in water. Now I drained the water from it and added the rice and sugar to the pot where the milk and carrots were. This was done so that the rice would cook and the sugar would mix. Now the most important thing here was to keep stirring it with a spoon so that it would not stick to the pot. Gradually, this carrot halwa thickened and was almost ready. I kept stirring it with a spoon so that it would not stick to the sides or the bottom of the pan.

Now the delicious milk carrot halwa was ready. I have arranged coconut, raisins and almonds on it to enhance its beauty. You can see in the picture how I decorated it with these things.

3.Do you face any difficulty during making this recipe.

I didn't face any particular difficulty in making carrot halwa because pure milk is available here and I easily got it and bought carrots from a vegetable shop and made it.

4.What are nutritious benefits of your dessert?

  • The benefits of carrot milk are that carrot contains a large amount of vitamin A, and because of this vitamin, it is excellent for improving eyesight.

  • Carrots normalize cholesterol levels, and dried fruits and milk relieve brain weakness and improve memory.

  • Milk contains a lot of calcium and vitamin D, which strengthens bones, muscles and teeth.

I will invite my friends to make carrot halwa so that they can also make it and enjoy it.

This is an example of a healthy and nutritious dessert. Our bodies do need sufficient sugar, and good sugar comes from fruit.

Carrots have long been considered a vegetable, not a dessert. The idea of making them into a dessert is very healthy. I wanted to try it, not cooking them, but eating them.
