Me And My Shadow Week #6، My daughter playing with fan, Pakistan

یہ تصویر میں نے مقابلہ دیکھنے کے بعد کھینچی ہے۔میری بیٹی سامنے ہی بیٹھی ہوئی پنکھے سے کھیل رہی تھی جو کہ بند تھا۔پنکھے کے پیچھے سے پڑتی ہوئی روشنی سے نہ صرف پنکھے کا سایہ بن رہا تھا بلکہ میری بیٹی کا بھی سایہ بنا۔
I took the picture after watching the competition. My daughter was sitting in front of it, playing with a fan that was turned off. The light falling from behind the fan was not only casting a shadow on the fan, but also on my daughter.

جب بھی کسی چیز کا سایہ بنانا ہو تو اس کے پیچھے سے روشنی ڈالی جاتی ہے اور مجھے تو یہ روشنی خود بخود ہی مل گئی۔جب میری بیٹی یہاں سے اٹھ گئی تو میں نے ایک اور تصویر لی۔
Whenever I want to make a shadow of something, light is cast from behind it, and I found this light automatically. When my daughter got up from here, I took another picture.

یہ پنکھا دراصل کمرے میں رکھے ہوئے کولر کا ہے جو کہ ہوا کی مقصد کے لیے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے تاکہ یہ باہر سے ٹھنڈی ہوا کھینچ کے اندر گھر کو ٹھنڈا کرے۔
This fan is actually a cooler placed in the room, which is used for ventilation purposes so that it draws cool air from outside and cools the house inside.

بچے اکثر ایسے کھیل کھیلتے ہیں جس کو بڑے دیکھ کر گھبرا جاتے ہیں مگر جہاں کہیں نقصان کا اندیشہ نہ ہو میں اپنی بیٹی کو وہ کھیل کھیلنے دیتی ہوں۔

Children often play games that adults are scared to see, but I let my daughter play them where there is no risk of harm.

میری خواہش ہے کہ میرے اس مقابلے میں کچھ ساتھی بھی حصہ لیں۔
I wish some of my colleagues would also participate in this competition.
