My pet:

I left home for my evening walk, and my cat Orion accompanied me, always ahead of me. My cat has me very confused, he has a different behavior than the common ones observed in cats.

There is a wooded park near our house, I usually walk there some afternoons and my cat used to accompany me. On one occasion, I looked at a nest of birds on the ground. I think my Orion read my mind. Before I went to the nest, he had picked it up by the edge and placed it in my hands.

I set out to look for the tree from which the nest might have detached, but Orion was already in the tree, staring at me, his tail erect, as if waiting for me to follow him. So I did, I climbed up to the lower branches and then climbed up to where Orion was and there were the remains of a detached nest. I placed it there and made sure that it was well-tied so that it would not fall again.

Ahead, there was another cat, always waiting for Orion, and then the two of them, side by side, made sounds that I had never heard before in other cats. They walk to the sound of my step but always in front of me.

I thought about introducing myself to another side of the park road. I had never walked there before but I felt the desire to do so. I hadn't even walked 10 minutes when I saw a gathering of cats. About 6 or 8 cats. They all lay on a mound and looked at me at the same time, without doing anything else.

At first, I was scared but when I saw that Orion and the other cat were already sitting next to them, I didn't worry. I kept walking. That's when I felt something was lifted up and out from under the mound came other cats, some furry, some hairless, some fat and skinny, yellow cats and cats of various colors.

They all began to communicate with these strange sounds. I understood that they were not human cats and that their language was that sound I always heard strange in my Orion.

The cats' eyes transformed. They saw a very sturdy cat come out of the mound and speak to them. They were eyes as yellow as the flame of a campfire. They looked like eyes of fire. Then I saw how other artifacts came out from under the mound, and each of the cats prepared to enter something that flew, it was like a ship. They all left, even my Orion.

I had had my pet with me, a cat from a parallel world. I myself did not recognize my cat as strange. Now I realize that the little strange thing I noticed about him was actually his normal attitude.

“Let's talk about...” will be a topic chosen each week to share, vote, give feedback, and comment on the posts of the users you like the most. Follow a thread of your comments or the comment you like the most from the other participating users.

Mi mascota:

Salí de casa a hacer mi paseo vespertino, mi gato Orión me acompaña, siempre él por delante de mi. Mi gato me tiene muy confundida, tiene comportamiento diferente a los comunes observados en los gatos.

Nos queda cerca de casa un parque muy boscoso, suelo caminar por él algunas tardes y mi gato está acostumbrado a acompañarme. En una oportunidad, mire un nido de pajaritos en el suelo. Creo que mi Orión me leyó el pensamiento. Antes que yo me dirigiera hacia el nido, él lo había tomado por el borde y lo colocó en mis manos.

Yo me dispuse a buscar el árbol de donde pudo haberse desprendido el nido, pero Orión ya estaba en el árbol, mirándome fijo, con su cola erguida, cómo esperando que yo lo siguiera. Así lo hice, trepé a las ramas inferiores y luego trepé hasta donde estaba Orión y allí habían restos de un nido desprendido. Lo coloqué allí, y me ocupé de que quedara bien atado para que no se volviese a caer.

Más Adelante, estaba otro gato, siempre esperando a Orión; Luego los dos uno al lado del otro se emiten unos sonidos que nunca los he escuchado antes en otros gatos. Caminan al son de mi paso pero siempre delante de mí.

Pensé en introducirme hacia otro lado del camino del parque. Nunca me había caminado por allí pero sentí el deseo de hacerlo. No había caminado ni 10 minutos, cuando miré una reunion de gatos. Aproximadamente 6 u 8 gatos. Acostados todos sobre un montículo y me miraron a la vez, sin hacer nada más.

Al principio me asusté pero al ver que mi Orión y el otro gato ya se habían sentado al lado de ellos me despreocupé. Seguí caminando. Fue cuando sentí que algo se levantaba, salían de debajo del montículo otros gatos. Unos peludos, otros sin pelo, algunos gordos, flacos, gatos amarillos y de colores variados.

Todos se empezaron a comunicar con esos sonidos extraños. Entendí que no eran gatos humanos, que su lenguaje era ese sonido que siempre escuché extraño en mi Orión.

Los ojos de los gatos se transformaron. Vieron salir del montículo a un gato muy robusto, que les habló. Eran ojos tan amarillos cómo la llama de una hoguera. Parecían ojos de fuego. Entonces ví cómo salieron otros artefactos, de debajo del montículo, y cada uno de los gatos se dispuso a entrar en algo que volaba, era como una nave. Todos se fueron, hasta mi Orión.

Había tenido conmigo a mi mascota, un gato de un mundo paralelo. Yo misma no reconocí tan extraño a mi gato. Ahora me doy cuenta que lo poco extraño que yo notaba en él, era en realidad su actitud normal.
