“Hablemos de quién me inspiró a aprender”.
Saludos apreciados amigos de esta comunidad. Gracias a nuestra amiga @gertu quien nos presenta este gran concurso que sin duda servirá para honrar a esa o esas personas que nos han inspirado a ser mejores.
Mi padre siempre ha Sido un hombre que me apoyo en mis estudios y en todo proyecto que emprendí. Estando algo ausente pero siempre pendiente de mis cosas y mis avances.
No obstante hay formas de calar en la mente de alguien, sobre todo de un niño, para tratar de convencerlo en todo momento no solo de educarse e instruirse si no que verlo como un necesidad irrenunciable.
Y quién se encargó de inculcarme la necesidad de intruirme , de educarme de crecer como persona y profesionalmente fue mi madre. Su tarea nunca se limito a aconsejarme para que estudiará e hiciera bien las cosas, No, tambien e encargo de hacerme sentir vergüenza frente a actos de mediocridad, sentir orgullo de tener conocimiento sobre las cosas.
De boca de mi madre siempre fui ejemplo de excelencia y conocimiento y eso me motivaba a continuar fortaleciendo mi educación, ser el orgullo de ella, escuchar hablar con propios y extraños sobre los virtudes; fue algo que hasta hoy marca mis pasos.
Mi madre a pesar de no tener estudios superiores, siempre le ha gustado leer y recuerdo que siendo muy pequeño ya yo conocí de historia como la de los nazis, gran parte de historia Universal, las guerras mundiales, historia del rey Arturo, entre otras.
Solía en las tardes sentarme en el patio de la casa mientras ella me leí esas historias o me contaba sobre eventos transcendentales y eso iba desarrollando poco a poco mi intelecto.
Actualmente puedo decir que mi madre continúa siempre que puede, resaltarme la importancia de intruirme y educarme, muchas veces lo hace como una exigencia pero tal como lo concebi desde pequeño, esa exigencia más que molestarme, me hace sentir que debo tener una preparación constante y continúa.
A diferencia de algunos de mis hermanos, recuerdo que cuando mi madre les exigía que fueran excelentes en algo, ellos lo veía como si fuese un agravio hacia ellos y se rebelaban ante eso, yo a diferencia d ellos lo comprendí de forma más objetiva y puedo escribir hoy orgullosamente sobre esto.

My father has always been a man who supported me in my studies and in every project I undertook. He was somewhat absent, but always attentive to my work and progress.
However, there are ways to penetrate someone's mind, especially a child's, to try to convince them at all times not only to educate themselves and learn, but to see it as an indispensable necessity.
And it was my mother who instilled in me the need to educate myself, to grow as a person and professionally. Her work was never limited to advising me to study and do things well. No, she also made me feel ashamed of my mediocrity and proud of my knowledge.
Through my mother's words, I was always an example of excellence and knowledge, and that motivated me to continue strengthening my education, to be her pride, to listen to others and friends talk about my virtues; it's something that shapes my life to this day.
My mother, despite not having higher education, has always liked to read, and I remember that when I was very young I already knew about history such as that of the Nazis, a large part of Universal History, the World Wars, the history of King Arthur, among others.
In the evenings, I used to sit in the courtyard of the house while she read me those stories or told me about transcendental events, and that would gradually develop my intellect.
Currently I can say that my mother continues to stress to me, whenever she can, the importance of instructing and educating me. Many times she does it as a demand, but just as I conceived it since I was little, that demand, rather than bothering me, makes me feel that I must have constant and continuous preparation.
Unlike some of my siblings, I remember that when my mother demanded that they excel at something, they saw it as an insult to them and rebelled against it. Unlike them, I understood it more objectively and can proudly write about it today.

Creo que los padres se sienten más realizados de un título académico obtenido por sus hijos y nietos que de un mérito académico propio. Atribuyo este orgullo a la seguridad que les hace sentir que sus hijos "si han de pasar trabajo" no ha de ser por incultos, sino por circunstancias ajenas a sus voluntades, tal como sucede hoy día, en nuestro país.
Fíjate que tu carrera de abogado como muchas otras profesiones universitarias, en este momento atraviesan por malos momentos, pero tu formación intelectual te ha permitido "salir adelante", y eso es gracias a todo el bagaje de conocimiento que posees. I share your idea that parents feel more fulfilled by a degree obtained by their children.
My son has already graduated as an engineer and since then I feel that I have fulfilled my obligation as a mother to leave him with an academic preparation.

Tienes toda la razón. Ya no me preocupa. Las cosas en el país no le permiten ejercen con un sueldo digno. Él trabaja con una empresa americana. Es autodidacta, bilingue. Le va bien.

Hola amigo qué bonita historia de tu vida con tu madre quien fué tu fuente de inspiración para aprender, se parece mucho a mi madre quien a pesar de no tener casi nada de estudios, sabe leer muy bien y nos animó a todos sus hijos el amor por la lectura, pero sobre todo de historias bíblicas lo disfruté mucho de chica.
