Regarding ice cream, some people prefer the cups, they say it's more comfortable to eat it, I agree, but I prefer the cones
It cannot be denied that the presentation in the cups is an extra, but it's all a matter of taste. I think the important thing is to find a good ice cream shop. Some sell ice cream but not good quality. I prefer to pay more for a good product. It's also something that is enjoyed occasionally.
What I do to prevent it from melting is to try to receive it and immediately enjoy it. Before buying it, I look where I'm going to sit so I can enjoy each flavor calmly.
