"BREAKING NEWS" - Academic Union Of Universities (ASUU) Has Given the Federal Government Of Nigeria Three Weeks Ultimatum To Meet Their Demand!!

The Academic Union Of Universities (ASUU) has handed down three weeks ultimatum to the FG to meet their demands, as failure to do so will result to the continuation of the Suspended strike by the Union.

While briefing the newsmen On Monday on the Outcome of their National Executive Council meeting held between November 13 and 14, 2021, ASUU President, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke gave this Ultimatum.

He seriously warned that the National Executive Council of ASUU would possibly meet on the expiration of the three weeks ultimatum to the give required directive to the member of the union to resume the strike he said was "patriotically Suspended on December 23, 2021", if the Federal Government Still fails to implement the Memorandum of Agreement that caused the suspension of the strike!

He also spoke on many other things which include:

• The current security issues in the country
  
  
• The discomforting Conditions of living and working in this Nigerian University System and the whole nation at large
  
  
• The appointment of Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim(Pantami) at the Federal University of Technology (FUTO) which caused controversy! source
