Robert Kiyosaki, the best-selling author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” says Bitcoin is heading to $50,000 in 2021
Bitcoin on Wednesday surged past $20,000 for the first time, breaking its record set last month. The token jumped 5%, to about $20,550, as of 9:30 a.m. ET, bringing its year-to-date gain to 185%. Kiyosaki tweeted that he was glad he bought the dominant cryptocurrency and encouraged others to buy it while it's still below $20,000.
The real estate mogul and best-selling author has been an advocate of Bitcoin, gold and silver while the Fed keeps printing new ‘fake USD’.
Another notable thing is that Kiyosaki’s prediction of the currency price. Although the figure of $50,000 should be purely his own intuitive bid, it is not based on technical analysis or derivation of any price model. Based on that institutional-level funds are flooding in. However, Kiyosaki’s view may not alone. A total of 40,824 bitcoins have been bought by the MicroStrategy company. The strong performance of bitcoin this year has indeed raised the attention of Wall Street, including BlackRock and Ray Dalio, the founder of Tudor Investment and the founder of Bridgewater Fund. MassMutual Mutual Life Insurance (MassMutual) announced that it was assisted by the New York Digital Investment Group (NYDIG) to buy a total of "100 million US dollars" of Bitcoin (BTC).
