POVERTY ALLEVIATION

The world is growing so fast and also the poverty streak in countries is on the rise too. Economic activities are rising and same as the hunger level in the countries of Africa. The rate of poverty mostly in under developed countries is rising sporadically with rise of economic challenges such as inflation. Poverty is a massive economic issue and could be tackled by various approaches to end the crucial raging economic issue.

FACTORS TO CONSIDER IN POVERTY ALLEVIATION CAMPAIGN

I would be sharing series of factors to put in consideration to enable poverty in the under developed nations of the world to be reduced to it's barest minimum. They are thus;

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Long before now, a whole lot of young people and average citizens are faced with lack of job opportunities which invariably means no source of income. The first step to poverty alleviation campaign is the providence of job opportunities. This effort would go a long way in reducing the rising streak of poverty in the teaming world population.

Poverty could be tackled by developing the production of small and medium scale enterprises in the countries. There should be production of more technological inventions to foster poverty alleviation and growth of the economy too.

AGRO-BASED FARMING

The mechanised farming should be improved. The process of using major mechanised implements should be provided to these farmers by the government to enable faster production of these agro-based crops. The production of these crops into finished goods too should be put in place to enable reduction of poverty rate too.

FINANCE SECTOR

Provision of loans and incentives by financial institutions could as well support the fight against poverty. Companies could get loans with little marginal interest from these financial institutions, thus lending more to the production sectors of the economy and boosting industralization through these activities.

The best form of investment in someone is in skill acquisition. If these poverty stricken nations are empowered with various skills, they would be able to fend for themselves comfortably. They could venture into technology acqusition and a host of other lucrative skills to enable these nations escape poverty.
