Learning to make a simple creative art : Rangoli
Hello Nature lovers,
Hope every one is good and healthy.
For years I used to see many fancy rangoli designs in my neighbourhood. But always, I just watched. I thought I had no art skill. I could only draw stick figures. Here is a glimpse.
But a simple lesson changed my mind. I learned to make a lovely rangoli. It was easy and fun.
Making it felt calming. It was a surprise. The powder felt soft in my hand. The design slowly showed up. Bright colors were placed on the ground.
This made me feel very peaceful. It was more than just drawing. I breathed slowly. I kept my hand steady. It felt good to see a design appear from nothing.
The finished rangoli was simple. Other designs were grander. But mine had a special charm. Its simple beauty was strong. It showed that real beauty is not always fancy.
The rangoli made our entry look truly old-style and pretty. Learning this easy rangoli was more than a new skill. It taught me to like simple beauty.
I feel I found joy in a small, honest try. This is now a favorite part of my holiday. It proves simple things are often best. They are easy to make. And they bring the most comfort.
