Cover Photo. The picturesque river near Abudanga Ghat

Today I will try to describe the beauty of a wonderful river area which is known as Abudanga Ghat. Ghat means a landing place to a river where you can find a boat or a bamboo bridge to cross the river. This river area is close to my mother's village house in Daulatpur Upzilla, Manikganj District, Bangladesh, and we have to cross it by boat from Abudanga Ghat to get to the village. The Abudanga Ghat area is so beautiful that I fell in love with it, and I have come to share its beauty with you.

When you arrive at the road to the Abudanga Ghat you will realize what a beautiful natural place you are visiting. I also have the same feeling after seeing this mesmerizing beauty after a long time. My parents and I live a long distance away from our home village, and we only go there once every few years. Therefore, the captivating village scenery leaves a lasting impression on our hearts. It's a truly wonderful feeling to walk along a road that has a river running alongside it or where you'll find a river at the end of the road.

As I walked along the road to Abudanga gaht, I felt peaceful as I saw the beautiful natural scenery here. These scenes are the aesthetic form of traditional Bengal which I got to see after a long time. These scenes lack the artificiality and mechanical feel of cities. The natural beauty of the river area, the way people live around the river, the economy here, etc. will fascinate you. I live in a town and was missing out on the beauty of this location.

I love the loaction of this house. The house is located near the ghat. The house appears to be located in the center of the river, with water surrounding it

I was feeling fantastic when I was strolling by myself along the roads I have shown in the photos. This lonely walk was great for me because I could stop whenever I wanted and take pictures of beautiful places. I have seen a beautiful house while going to the Abudanga Ghat. It is uncommon to see a village house like this. There was only water surrounding the house, giving the impression that it was situated in the center of the river. But it was resorvior I think. But as the house is near the river If it rains heavily, the river water may reach this house. With those white catkin flowers growing naturally all around it, the house environment looked fantastic.

Abudanga Ghat

After witnessing the breathtaking beauty of the river road and the surrounding landscape, I arrived at the Abudanga Ghat. To get to the Abudanga Ghat, you will rarely see a vehicle unless you bring your own motorcycle or bicycle. Because it is a riverside location. However, there will be some vehicles available at a distance of approximately 5-7 minutes from the Ghat. I got there in a motorized vehicle. After that, I walked myself to the Abudanga Ghat. Once you arrive at the Abudanga Ghat, you will notice a boat, which is a common rural Bangladeshi vehicle used to cross the river. A villager was getting on thr boat with a load on his head. It was a traditional scene of a riverbank.

The river boat was developed. Now motor used in ruver boat which makes it dynamic. These boats used to be hand-driven not too long ago. It only take a few minutes to cross the river by boat. You only need to pay 5–10 BDT, or roughly 0.041–0.082, in small change to use this boat to cross the river. Every time I visited my mother's village, I had to take a boat or a bamboo bridge to cross the river. However, all of those memories were a pleasant experience for me. These were excellent chances to see the river area's natural beauty, learn about the locals' way of life, and be amazed by how welcoming they were.

According to the local the river you can see here is known as a tributary of the river Jamuna. However, if you look closely at the Google map, you will see that there are other rivers that are very close to where this little river originated. The origin of a tributary river is actually quite fascinating. It was a memorable visit to the Abudanga Ghat. I highly recommend that you visit this wonderful location.

I did this small video while crossing the river by boat

I am inviting @lirvic, @waterjoe and @pelon53 to take part in the contest.
