Hello Steemian friend

On this occasion, I would like to share my experience on the way home from Langsa City to Lhokseumawe City. On the way, my family and I felt thirsty and a little hungry. We decided to stop at a minimarket called Desember Mart to buy drinks and snacks.

At first, I thought that Desember Mart was a local minimarket. However, I had my doubts because from the outside, it looked similar to national minimarkets like Alfamart or Indomaret. The building is quite modern, with a dedicated parking area for customers and a strategic location on Jalan Medan-Banda Aceh, right next to the Bank Aceh Capem Julok office.

Without lingering too long, we went inside. The atmosphere inside the minimarket is quite cozy - spacious, cool and clean. The shelves are neatly organized and provide various daily necessities like a national minimarket.

The first thing I noticed was that the interior design was very similar to Alfamart. However, there was one thing that bothered me: in the area in front of the entrance, there were several piles of items that I thought were poorly placed. They don't seem very important and make the front area look cramped and uncomfortable to walk through. It would be better if the area was left empty to make the atmosphere feel more spacious.

As for the layout of items inside Desember Mart, it can be said to be quite organized:

• The left side shelf is filled with various snacks.
• The center is filled with household items.
• The right side displays a variety of baby milk products from various brands.
• At the back, there are six refrigerator units containing a variety of cold drinks.

Affordable prices

We picked up a few items that we needed. Here is my shopping list:

2 bottles of Aqua mineral water - Rp6,000	2.4 Steem
1 box of Ultramilk UHT milk - Rp7.000	7.9 Steem
1 bottle of Sosro tea - Rp4.700	1.9 Steem
1 pack of Piattos geprek Rp11.800	4.9 Steem
1 pack of Lemonilo brownies choco - Rp11.500	4.7 Steem
1 pack of potato crackers - Rp10,000	4.1 Steem
1 piece of Sari Roti - Rp19.900	7.8 Steem

Total shopping: Rp70,900 or approximately 29.5 Steem, calculated based on the Steem price on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

All products sold at Desember Mart have clear price tags. In addition, some products are also labeled yellow, indicating a discount. This is certainly very helpful for shoppers to adjust their choices to their budget.

Cashier Area

After finishing my shopping, I headed to the cashier area. The design of the cashier area also reminded me of Alfamart, complete with rows of snacks, chocolates, bottled drinks, and cigarettes from various favorite brands.

Curious about the name "Desember Mart", I asked the clerk if this was a local minimarket. The clerk kindly explained that Desember Mart was a branch of Alfamart. Even so, I didn't get a chance to ask further about the reason for using a different name because the clerk seemed quite busy serving customers.

After waiting for my turn, I handed my groceries to the cashier. In front of the cashier's desk, there was a monitor screen displaying the price details of all the items I bought-transparent and easy to monitor.

Conclusion:

Overall, the shopping experience at the Desember Mart convenience store was quite pleasant. Although I initially thought it was a local minimarket, it turns out that Desember Mart is a branch of the national minimarket Alfamart. The location is strategic, the place is clean and comfortable, and the goods are neatly organized with clear prices. Although there are some small things that could be improved such as the arrangement of goods in the front area.
