Among those things that I try not to say one of the first places should be the phrase: I know it!

Yes it is quite normal to know something and perhaps I know a lot in different areas but sometimes everything I know is not worth a dime because one day I see something that shows me a huge gap in my knowledge lol.

For example studying the issue of gardening and lard growing I pay attention to the composition of the soil and understand that its quality is very important for plants.

But when I see a plant that blooms and smells, growing on stones where the soil cannot be called "soil" a priori I understand that life is more stylish than any knowledge it is impossible to keep it in check with reference books and encyclopedias it just lives as it should live itself - life!

I found this Echinacea flower and many of its fellows on rocky hills late in the year covered with a layer of white rubble apparently a rock rich in calcium which makes the soil incredibly alkaline and unsuitable for plant life.

But these flowers thrive there in spite of everything.

Even in the harshest conditions, life flourishes, the beauty of a flower blooms.
Thank you for adding more than just a photo. Good luck in the contest.

Stone & Flower!
I chose this photo because this flower can grow between stones and on stones. It blooms rarely, but it is very beautiful. It withstands drought and cold. It is not afraid of snow and ice. It has adapted to live in harsh conditions and I would call it a stone flower.

Hello, artists.
I selected this photograph for the rose theme of Issue 14. I'll use it because it also relates to stone.
It's just a photo of a rose, left over from a bouquet, that has dried out and taken on that aged orange-red hue. Roses age beautifully over time, but they'll most likely end up on the ground or on stones. My artistic work focused on the staging: removing the badly damaged and excess petals, finding the stone, and framing it. I hope you enjoy it.

Hello, community! The photo I have is not my own, that's why I decided to represent it in a painting.
This flower is known as ‘Pansy Flower’, ‘Viola’ or ‘Viola x wittrockiana’. It is one of my favourites.
These flowers inspired a series of works that I made in the last term.
Some people use words to put their emotions in order. I need to put emotions and thoughts into images.

When we are in over our heads and the environment contributes to increased stress, we need to be like a rock, standing firm, holding on to our fundamental principles. In those moments we can know what we are made of. Thus, by keeping faith in our values and certainties we can stand up and rise from a new, healthy and authentic way of thinking.

We will find joy and purpose in even the smallest moments, just like the dayflower blooming for a single day.
