Art Comment Contest: Blue
Many artists had a blue period, and Pablo Picasso (ESP) is one of them. His period was from 1901-1904. He painted with blue (and green) and his art was sombre.
If it comes to modern art we have Yves Klein with his "monochrome". Is this art?
This contest is easy.
You post your "blue" art in the comments section. Since this is the community for art and artists, the idea is to show something creative. Creative means you made it or someone else did, and it is what you call artistic.
The colour that must appear in the art you share is: blue

The blue city Alien, this piece concepts came from an idea of fiction Hollywood movie I had watched in the past so I tried to come up with something unique, this work was drawing using a charcoal pencil and crayon on paper, it took me roughly 30 minute to create. The shading technique I used for this work is called hatching.
I titled this piece “ The blue city Alien” this drawing narrates the idea of a humanoid alien with hollow blue eyes. This alien is a monster that terrorizes the city, an alien that came down from space and tey to mark territories on earth, it became destructive and very harmful to the society, the sad truth is it looked like a real human but when you get close you see the difference from the eyes. My drawing is a fiction character though, this was done out of imagination i really hope you like it.
Time, like Alice in Wonderland, blurs. I always want to participate, and usually the calendar has changed its leaves. Are there still calendars with the leaves removed?
I started planning ideas, and after all, it's blurred in ultramarine blue or any blue. You've let me see that I looked like a tree shedding leaves. That's time too. Shedding skin every second.
A tree without makeup. Only scars on the trunk. An inner war, a blue gaze (of course), and small, believable details of what the viscera and soul are in a monotonous flow of brushes and water.
Here's my post.
