Sea, islands and acrylic

image.png

I have painted this picture. I am still experimenting and learning. I don't have the yellow color, so some tones that should be in the sky and other parts were eliminated. I have been testing some brushes, for effects, which did not meet my expectations.
The good thing is that perfection is obtained with dedication and work. Create and re-create.

I used a normal cardboard, in blue, with a blue acrylic base; originally it was for another project. But I had the desire to paint and I took this same cardboard. The blue was super strong, so it was a little more complicated to use other weaker tones.

I hope some of you will comment, what do you think. All opinions are always welcome.

What colours do you have? Red, orange, green?
At first glance it looked like it was a tapestry I was looking at. You could touch up the sky with some red or orange - diluted with water so very lightly. Now or another time. I think it's pretty: storm coming.

Of the basic colors, I have a little blue and some Christmas red, which is not the basic red, but it works. No yellow. I bought a turquoise blue that you see in the sea. I liked the color. I have an idea to paint something I saw, but landscaping uses a lot of yellow, even in gradients.

Did you try the yellow from the colour pencils? Is there a yellow crayon you can paint with? (both making wet included)?
