Very fun, Arthur! I learn from your work every time, as I stumble along trying to paint a decent portrait. In this instance, the lighter tone on top of the orbicular? muscle above the eyelid gives it just the tiny swelling muscularity it has. Also, somehow, you seem always to stay tuned to a drama or story in the expression; this gives the work focus. I think I must learn to identify such a story and keep it in mind as I go.
