Wrath and Redemption
Japanese art and the mystic world of tattoos have fascinated me for decades. Among their most powerful symbols is the Hannya mask, a striking expression of duality. It holds jealousy, rage, sorrow, and yet, beneath it all, a trace of humanity still flickers.
Rooted in Noh theater and often worn on the skin as a talisman, the Hannya mask speaks to the raw emotional storms we all face. This piece was born from that timeless pull. The flowing lines echo the elegance of tattoo work, while the fiery backdrop honors the fierce beauty of Japanese storytelling.
For me, it’s a bridge between ancient truths and personal reflection.

The same and still, the expression is so different due to the colours. I wonder what it looks like if they hang next to another.

I'm good, slowly recovering, still don't see much but eyes are looking less puffy and feels less annoyed, one more month of recovery and we will see, literally
At least that's a step forward. I wish you a good time and a speedy recovery.
I wonder if you ever painted in the dark.
