As Above – A Meditation in Ink and Tea by Adida Fallen Angel*

As Above is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork created as part of my ongoing exploration of balance, connection, and the quiet dance between the cosmic and the earthly. I used assorted teas on textured watercolor paper with torn edges, letting the pigments flow freely, guided only by intuition. Once dry, I followed their path with intricate black ink lines, weaving bold patterns through the natural stains.

This piece is a dialogue between chaos and control, accident and intention. The torn paper edges and the organic tea tones emphasize its raw, handmade energy. The title As Above reflects the theme of alignment — between inner and outer worlds, microcosm and macrocosm, the known and the unknown.

This artwork invites quiet contemplation. It’s a reminder of how even the most spontaneous marks can hold deep meaning, and how we’re all part of something vast, mysterious, and beautifully connected.
