Homemade delicious mini pizza crackers
I prepare the dough from spelt flour, rolled oats, chia seeds, oil, grated cheese, yeast, lukewarm water, sugar and salt.
Roll out thinly and cut out round shapes. These are baked in the oven for about 15 min.
Meanwhile, I prepare the seasoning paste. Finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté in olive oil. Then tomato paste, honey, pepper, salt and plenty of dried Italian herbs are stirred in.
Then I spread the almost ready crackers with the seasoning paste and sprinkle some cheese on top. Then the crackers go back into the oven for a few minutes. The seasoning paste should soak in or dry, the cheese should melt slightly.
How long the finished mini pizza crackers are durable I could never test...
