SC S25W2: Dibujando Animé Shonen.

Assalamualaikum
I hope everyone is doing well and having beautiful week I am @isha-rehman and today I am very happy to share my drawing for Week 2 of the steemit Anime Drawing Challenge which focus on Shonen Anime

For this challenge I decide to draws Yuji Itadori the main character from Jujutsu Kaisen. He is strong brave emotional and alway fight to protect others. His action and energy make him perfect example of a Shonen hero.

Character Chosen

• Name: Yuji Itadori
• Anime: Jujutsu Kaisen

Yuji is a kind hearted boy who becomes a vessel for a curse spirit. Even in danger he stay loyal to his friend and tries to save lives. His character shows Power emotion and courage everything a shonen character should have

Materials Used

• White A4 drawing paper
• HB pencil (for sketching)
• 2B and 4B pencils (for shading)
• Eraser and sharpener

Step 1: Rough hand and arm sketch

I began with light pencil lines to draw the basic shape of one hand and the arm. This step is all about Planning the position of the body. I did not add details yet just simple line to understand how the hand should look.

Step 2: Add face guide

Now I added a circle and guidelines to place the face and neck. I also start sketching the mouth wide open which help show emotion. I kept the lines light so I could easily erase if need.

Step 3: Draw the eyes nose and hair outline

Here I worked more on the face adding sharp eyes eyebrows and the nose. I also sketch the spiky hairstyle which is very common in Shonen character The face now start to look more alive.

Step 4: Fix face shape and add emotion

I improved the shape of the face and gave Yuji a stronger expression. His wide eye and tense mouth show a dramatic moment. I also refine his neck and jawline for a stronger look.

Step 5: Finalize the hair and hand

I completed the hair with more spikes and gave better shape to the fingers. The hand gesture is important in this pose showing movement and emotion very common in battle scenes of Shonen anime.

Step 6: Draw the clothes and sleeves

Here I added the jacket sleeves and collar making sure everything fits together. These detail help show the character style and make the drawing look complete.

Step 7: Start shading (face and hand)

I began shading the face and fingers using 2B and 4B pencils. I shaded under the eyes inside the mouth and between the fingers to create depth and realism.

Step 8: Complete the shading (clothes and background)

In the final step I shaded the jacket sleeve and hair. I used darker shading in shadow area to bring out the character more clearly and give a 3D effect. This makes the drawing bold and dramatic just like a Shonen anime scene.

I really enjoyed drawing Yuji. This challenge help me practice how to show emotion energy and shadows in anime drawing. I am happy with my result and happy to try even more complex poses in the future.
