SC S25W1: Drawing Kodomo Anime.
Tom (The Cat).
For today's Kodomo Anime, I will be drawing a legendary cartoon character known as Tom. It will be easier to identify Tom when his name is close to his rival, Jerry. The Tom and Jerry characters were created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, while the franchise has been managed by Warner Bros.
This cartoon character has entertained and kept many children glued to the screen as Tom runs up and down, making frantic efforts to get Jerry.

Step 1 [Preparing the Canvas]
Here is my prepared drawing paper, white and free from wrinkles and spots.
I had to cut a drawing sheet and had it ready with my username and today's date. Friday 20 June 2025.
Step 2 [The guidelines]
I started with this stick diagram made up of a circle for the head, stick hands and legs reflecting the posture of Tom the cat. This will guide me through the drawing.
Step 3 [Adding flesh]
Following the guidelines, I added some flesh to the stick diagram from the feet up, through the belly to the hands.
Step 4 [Erasing Guideline Segments]
The lines became crowded, and I had to start erasing segments of the guidelines, especially those that would not be used.
Step 5 [Shading and detailing]
Adding some details and Shading to Tom. Its eyes and ears are not yet coloured at this point. The choice of colour depends on how this character is often portrayed.
Step 6 [Finishing]
Now the colouring is complicated, with yellow eyes and pink ears.
