August: My View, Myself Wk52.

What do you understand by the word August?

August is known as one of the months in a year and is always found in a calender just like the other months. This particular month comes after the month of July and is also before the month of September which we all know was last month.

In Nigeria heavy rain often fall in August because the month falls under the months we observe raining season in Nigeria. In August we mostly have 3-6 days that we all call August Break because during such days rain hardly fall, is just like a break for rain.

Tell us a brief story of what you experienced in August 2025.

In the month of August I experienced a whole lot of things but I will quickly talk about just one of them. Even as it was a month for primary and secondary school students holiday, I went to school in August because I'm a tertiary student which means I study in the university. It wasn't an easy month for me but I was always surviving the obstacles I faced. In August I paid alot of bills in school I was also making arrangements for my IT since I'm in my third year in the school and I will be in final year next year.

There's was a particular day I almost missed a very crucial test because I woke up in the morning late as a result of studying late at night. I was glad that our Lecturer didn't get to school 8:00am but 8:45am because of something important he had to settle with his family. When I was getting close to the classroom I was feeling very sad because I thought the test had already started and when I got close to the class I saw some of my coursemates outside with books and I thought they had finished writing but I got that out of my mind because it was too early for them to finish and I later discovered the Lecturer wasn't in the classroom yet. I thanked God so much for that and I successfully wrote the test that day.

Based on your numerous experience was August good or quite bad to you?

Yes it was a very good month to me because even as I faced some obstacles, I overcame 85% of them successfully and I learnt new things as well especially when it comes to dealing with human beings around me. August this year is a month we can never see again. There's August next year but next year is 2026 and not 2025.

What were your plans for September 2025?

My plans last month was to successfully attend a Deanery meeting concerning Altar Servers and I was happy we successfully attended the meeting after our Parish Priest refused to permit us to attend because the president of Altar Servers in my parish which is also a steemian like you and I, didn't inform our parish priest about the meeting on time.

This picture I posted is a picture our president took when we were inside a mini bus on our way back from the meeting on the 14th of September 2025. I also planned to conclude the process of securing a good establishment for my IT and I achieved that as well. September was a good month for me and I'm still observing this month to see how it will be.
