Home: My View, Myself Wk50.

The word "home" is a space used as a permanent or semi-permanent residence for one or more human occupants, sometimes various companion animals. It is a fully- or semi-sheltered space and can have both interior and exterior aspects to it. Home can also provide sheltered and space for domestic activities such as sleeping, preparing food, eating and hygiene as well as providing spaces for work and leisure such as remote working, studying and playing.

My home is a comfortable one-bedroom apartment with a toilet and water, everything inside,making my household chores very convenient.

The walls are painted with a blue colour paint. From the bedroom, there's a corridor that leads to the bathroom and kitchen. It has two aluminum windows in the bedroom, one small one in the toilet and one large window in the kitchen.

My home is currently occupied by my two siblings and I, we enjoy equality time together, create memories, warm and welcoming environment for family and friends and also our visitors.

People say "Home Sweet Home" because it captures the essence of comfort, warmth, and a scene of belonging that a home provides. It's a unique bond between occupants and their living space, where they feel safe, relaxed, and free to be themselves. For example, during my NYSC, I was posted to a different state with a distinct culture, cuisine, and people that were not my usual preference. The weather was not nice with me either, making me alway feel unwell and uncomfortable. However, after my P.O.P and I return home, I felt a deep relief and comfort, truly feeling myself again. So the phrase is used to express joy, contentment, and happiness when returning from unfamiliar places.
