The Diary Game: Resuming Work After A Long Time And Home Duties (08-09-2025)
Cheers to the good life, guys. It's Monday, and we all know this is when the official working days begin, not like the weekends when we wake up whenever we like. Today I woke up very early and prepared myself to go to work. Being a 9-5 worker isn't always easy; for me, I have to combine it with being a wife and mother, so it's not been easy, but here I was getting dressed to leave my house to work.
When I got to the office, my boss called me and asked me to bring last week's account to his table. I took it there because while at home I was able to balance the account myself and do the necessary documentation. I dropped the file at his office and went back to my duty post.
Today's work was all joy and laughter; our boss even bought us breakfast. This is the second time he will be doing such, and I keep wondering what has really changed because this is unlike him, but anyways, I can't really tell because time will surely tell. So after my shift had ended, I went back home, but it was cloudy and windy at the same time; people were running up and down to find themselves a shed, and so did I.
Oh, I forgot to tell you guys that school had resumed and my boy had gone to school today, so I did not go to the house directly; I branched off to his school and sat here waiting for him to come out so that we could go back home together. When we got back home, I gave him breakfast and made sure he took his bath by himself, then I allowed him to nap and rest while I was busy trying to prepare something for dinner.

When I finished chopping the editan leaf, I bathed that afternoon and took my nap also, though my nap was very short because I had to wake up by 5pm to prepare the soup and make fufu so that we could eat for dinner.
When I woke up, I began to prepare. I washed the editan leaf and prepared the soup just the way I like it. I know this is one of my hubby's favorite soups, and I do make sure I cook it in such a way that we all love it. I bet you, this soup you are seeing here won't see the breaking of Wednesday.
When my hubby came back home from work, I welcomed him with the sumptuous editan soup, and when he finished eating, I gave him the water I boiled before he came back, and he had his bath, then we decided to say hello to my sister that is still preparing to get wedded by December.

The day was bright and beautiful, and right here, I am so grateful to God for the privilege to see another beautiful week, which I know will bring nothing short of blessings to me and my household. Let me take a bow here, friends. I will be back some other time with this diary. I hope to also see you. Bye.
